Training Unit

Focusing on Skill Development, National Institute of Biologicals (NIB), in line with Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) is imparting two weeks National Skill Development and Hands-on Training to M.sc. Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry students and also M Pharm students from NIPER institutes & universities on Quality control of Biologicals. The focus of this training Programme is to sensitize the students on best practices in quality control and quality management system in biologicals and enhance their technical capabilities, that would help in their future research endeavours.

With an aim to Strengthen the blood Services in the Country, NIB in collaboration with National Health Mission (NHM), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India is also organizing Six Days Residential Training Program on "Training of Trainers for Strengthening of Blood Services" for Blood Bank Officials from various parts of the country.

The institute also runs different training programmes ranging from One-week, Two-weeks, Six-weeks etc. & project work of Four-six months duration, for the students from various universities who apply for these programmes through e-mail and submit their application vide info@nib.gov.in. For these programmes, the applicants are requested to send their bio data along with the mark sheet of the previous semester (a minimum of 60% marks is required for consideration of the application) and recommendation letter from the Head of Department of their respective University.
