NOTE:-

1. 1.  For Insulin, Streptokinase and other newer products viz. Interferon, Erythropoietin, Heparin, Rabies, Antisera, Snake Venom Antisera and other Products for parenteral use, testing fee will be Rs. 20600/- + Service Tax @12.36% i.e. Rs.        23146/-.

3. 2.   For Combo Kits which includes two antigens instead of one such as HIV & HCV or HIV ( Serological Testing) +p24 antigen, double the rate will be charged for testing of individual Kits.

5. 3.   Charges for scrutiny of summary batch production and quality control protocol for the purpose of batch release will be Rs. 2000/- + Service Tax @12.36% i.e. Rs. 2247/- .

7. 4.  The fee for scrutinizing Technical Dossiers at the time of granting marketing approval of the biological product, Imported/Indigenously  produced, will be Rs. 10000/- + Service Tax @12.36% i.e. Rs. 11236/- as it is only a one time activity.

  * As per the suggestion given in Para 17.5 of Chapter - XVII of the report that lot release is key to the control of vaccines and similar biologicals, which are inherently variable due to the biological nature of starting materials, manufacturing process and test methods. A lot release for vaccines and Biologicals is also recommended by WHO and United States Food & Drug Administration (USFDA). Lot release implies that each lot of biological should also be tested by NIB which has been notified as NCL (National Control Laboratory) before release in the market. Thus sample form each lot would be sent to NIB for pre release certification for its quality before release in the market.

** All Payments in respect of Testing Fee will be made in the form of Single Demand Draft only.
